Labeling

Labeling is an integral component of any warehouse operation. The three most common label formats generated in a warehouse are product labels, License plate labels, and location labels. Most WMS provide the ability to generate these labels. We’ve provided an option for alternatives to printing these types of labels.

PRODUCT LABELING
TEMPLATES

The product labeling section in our resource area includes several templates for generating product/item/SKU labels at the point of receiving. You will have the option to use from several off the shelf Avery standard labels or a few Zebra formats.

LICENSE PLATE (LPN)
TEMPLATES

Almost every credible WMS system in use today relies on the use of an LPN or license plate to accurately associate inventory placed on a pallet or other storage container. This section will provide sample layouts that you can use to easily print LPNs.

LOCATION LABELS

A well designed locator process in your warehouse will significantly improve productivity and inventory accuracy in your warehouse. Often location labels are overlooked as many companies will take short cuts to cut costs. This section include a few layouts that are proven to be intuitive and easy for a warehouse person to follow.
